Face Serum by Immunocologie
Hi all! Bethany here, co-owner of Botanica Bazaar, owner of sister store Surf Bazaar and mother of two young ones. With a crazy busy schedule between two shops and two kids, back and forth between work and play dates, you could imagine I need something quick and easy. That is why my go-to facial serum is from Immunocologie. I needed something unscented (my husband likes to "share") and effective. The Face Serum is considered a dry oil because of the base ingredient Desert Date Seed Oil.This causes the oil to sink into the pores without the oily texture that many serums will leave on the surface. The Face Serum stimulates collagen production, strengthens epidermal lipid recovery and provides robust plumping. A major reason I love it is the powerful antioxidants, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties delivered from the one of the major ingredients, French Clay.
Anything to get my skin through the Summer craze is a win for me.

The Youth Dew by May Lindstrom Skin
Hi guys! Ariel here from Botanica Bazaar.
I am a little mermaid, ocean loving creature who struggles with cystic acne (thank you adult acne!) and tend to have more oily prone skin.
In my venture to finding relief for my skin I came across May Lindstrom's gorgeous skincare line.
Intended for the most sensitive skin, The Youth Dew is my go to serum.
It is the ultimate glow potion, providing gorgeous hydration while balancing the natural oil production (great for oily skin) and slowing the onset of lines and wrinkles (the incredible anti-oxidant protection is beneficial at every age).
The combination of pure plant and essential oils are chosen specifically for their ability to clear skin and penetrate deep beyond the epidermis, addressing chronic dryness and dissolving that outer layer of stagnant oil.
This is incredible for helping to balance oils and heal damage in acneic skin as well as plump, soothe and hydrate in sensitive and maturing complexions.
I like to top my serum with The Blue Cocoon which is a powerful anti-inflammatory and soothes skin in the most beautiful way, providing the perfect level of hydration and healing, eliminating any redness and irritation. It works wonderfully for all skin types, and is especially effective for those prone to eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and rosacea.
The Blue Cocoon contains blue tansy, which calms and relieves inflammation on a magical level (while providing that gorgeous blue color... like the ocean!)

I am a beach worshiper and spend my time between work, taking my son to surf, and the occasional photo shoot.
The past few years I have struggled with melasma which is a condition in which the skin darkens, unevenly, on sun exposed areas.
It most commonly occurs on the cheeks, forehead and upper lip (very similar to sun spots.)
